Birthdays

Students' birthdays are celebrated in the classroom by the teacher and students, and recognized at All-School Meetings. 

Parents may not send in any food or toys for distribution. Students are also not permitted to distribute invitations to birthday parties. 

The library has a program for families who wish to donate a book in the birthday child’s honor.  A special bookplate with your child’s name and the year will be affixed, and the new book introduced to students in your child’s grade before being put into circulation.  More information is available on the Haynes School library website.
